Ben Wilson was recently presented the Global Safety Institute “Founders Medal” at the 2019 NSC (National Safety Council) safety expo and conference! The medal was presented by the institute co-founder Bill Sims, Jr. and in presence of Paul Bettencourt. (All 3 pictured) This was presented in recognition of the development of the Global Safety Index (GSI) and the contribution GSI has made to help organisations to better understand their true health and safety performance. The Global Safety Institute is a not for profit established in USA in 2018 to help recognise and reward positive health and safety performance across industries.
Global Safety Index provides organisations with the ability to measure, monitor and benchmark their safety performance across four key areas; Safety Leadership, Safety Culture, Mental Health Literacy and Safety Output Results, allowing organisations to improve their safety and wellbeing performance using data-driven insights.
